How do you remove a biocube hood?

Title says it all..
I can't figure out how to get the hood off of my 14g biocube.
I'll have a nice update for you all tomorrow though .

well i know that you can take it off. well mine i just took it off. like cant you pull it off?

It's on hinges?

are you sure it comes off? My Aquapod was a first generation and their hoods are not removable (unless you break it off).
I could not find replacement hoods for bio cubes, hat's why I recently got the nano cube.

I believe there are pins in the hinges that you need to remove first.
