How do you remove copper?

That's assuming copper immediately leaves the live rock and substrate. From what I've read it does not behave that way.

no thats assuming a diffusion coefficient of .2 so only 20% of the copper leaves the rock each change after you remove the copper dissolved in the water.
On a related noted i was under the impression that if you have live rock you shouldnt be dosing copper anyway becasue it kills the cirtters in the live rock. is that not true?
