How do you take care of freshwater plants?

Thanks! It was a fun tank to put together, I just sort of put anything and everything in there to see if it would grow. It's been messed with and moved around so many times it's rediculous. I'm constantly messing with it. Makes it sorta fun though!
Now the 75, that's no longer put together, it busted. All the fish survived, but the seals weren't the best, I learned my lesson! USE MORE SILICONE!!! It was a house wrecker!

SO the fish I'm am going to get is 6 veil angelfishes. I was wondering if
I could put like 2 platys or molly balloons in with them?

You have to figure with 6 fish you are more than likely get at least one pair. Or you hope so anyway! Plant that tank real pretty and take pics! I wanna see how it turns out when you get it all set up!
Have you thought about plants or themes/biotypes that you want to creat yet? That's when it gets fun! I like the natural tank look, but jungles look cool too. Of course with those angels, you are going to need a lot of open swimming room, so ground cover over a lagre part of the tank would be good.
While the angels are small you could have some mollies in there, but once they get larger and start to pair off, they will get aggressive and then you'll need to remove anything other than the pairs themselves.

As for the CO2 system. my friend has a 55g FW and has plants in it. i can't remember the light he has for it but its a pretty nice one. his plants were fine and all but he decided to make a homemade CO2 injector. has soon as he did the next morning the plants like doubled in size no joke. it was crazy. its not necessary but it helped his plants

That's what you can achieve with good lighting and Co2! Not to mention a little high tech and a little fertalizers!

Wow, those are amazing. That really makes me want to setup a freshwater tank sometime... :)
