how do you use live sand

Straight? mix it with another sand? Favorite brands? Brands that work? what is aragonite?
so many questions, so little knowledge.

You don't have to use all live sand. You can get mostley dry agranotite sand and seed it with some live sand. A good brand of live sand is Natures Ocean, but it only contains bacteria no critters. The Florida Keys live sand from here is also good and contains critters. Agronite is the type of sand that is found in most reef areas.
