how does temp/salinity affect ca/alk readings?

I've recently started testing alk and I'm trying to get a better understanding of how various water parameters affect each other.
Last night I did a full batch of tests on both my current tank water (which I've been having some trouble with lately) and a fresh batch of water all mixed up and ready for a water change. Here is what I saw...
New Water:

water: RO/DI
salt: 1/2 IO, 1/2 Oceanic
temp: 80
salinity: 1.023
alk: 3.43
ca: 500
ph: 8.4
nitrates: 0
nitrites: 0
ammonia: 0
phosphates: 0
Tank Water:

temp: 80
salinity: 1.023
alk: 2.51
ca: 540
ph: 8.3
nitrates: 10
nitrites: 0
ammonia: 0
phosphates: 0
Seems like the "target" levels for most params are pretty set... but suggested temp and salinity seem to vary slightly person to person. Do either of these params have an effect on alk/ca? For example... if I test my tank at night when the water is slightly cooler (78degrees), will my ca/alk levels read any differently than if I test during the day when the tank is a bit warmer (82degrees)?
TIA.

if you test at night, your ph will most likely be lower and this can alter your alk readings.
