I recently bought a Kent Marine Full size HI-S/CTA/TFC R/O. Its a 24 gpd clear canister. Is this any good for my Reef? If you need more info on it I can get it. Is this a crapy unit or is it good? Thanks.

in a nut shell it says you have a carbon filter a sediment filter and a ro filter. to be honest I consider myself pretty up on ro's and rodi's but never had a reson to search and find out why a ro membrane was also called a tfc membrane. I do know they are the same thing though. the unit is a good starter unit and a good price but I would look at adding a DI in the near future. the cool thing about ro's and rodi's is when its time to change filters you can spend litterly a cupple dollers more and upgrade the tipe of filters and the gph of your unit. to answer your questian yes it is a good filter for reefs. it will remove 90 to 94% of your unwated elliments out of your water. here is a link to my build thread on my unit hopfully it will help you some https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/282425/build-your-own-rodi

Cool Sign Guy, thanks. Another question though....If I wanted to add another canister down the road, to make this even better water what canister would I buy? What would I need?
Also if I did do this, all I would have to do is bring my "clean water" line to the next (New)canister, plug it in and then the new canisters line would be the cleanest water. Is this correct?

if you are talking about the DI chamber pretty much yes. I have a splitter on mine one goes to the resivor tank for drinking the other comes up to the DI chamber then out to the tank.
you may have alittle nit of plumbing work to go along with it but it should be detailed in the instructions you get with the DI chamber.
