how long before adding fish

I just moved a 55 gal and I kept about 20 gal of water from the tank when I moved it and put the rest new salt water. How long before I can start to add the fish back? :happyfish

I would say that you should monitor water paramenters and judge by that. See if regular feedings cause spikes in water parameters.
