How long can live brine shrimp live in saltwater??

Thier whole life...Brines shrimp are actually Saltwater shrimp, that some freshwater fish keepers use.
They use Saltwater to hatch them...
In SW you don't have to use the SW, just use your regular water.
They do have hard feeding requirements, which is why it's not easy or cheap to raise them yourself.

your fish will eat them..but mostly they will die..don't make to much and you'll be ok.
They will last a day or so.

LOngest I have ever had any brine shrimp last in a SW tank without any predators in it was about 2 weeks.......feeding is the hardest to do to keep em alive..... I have also had cleaner shrimp spawn that i collected, that lived about the same length of time as the brine shrimp did.

i had some in the fridge one time for well over a week and when i added them to the warm saltwater they were still alive.

But if you didn't use any SW in SW you wouldn't really be doing SW would you now... :thinking:
