How Long do Heaters Last?

Just wondering how long I should have one before discarding it and buying a new one.

we run ebo jagers at the shop i work at and most are 5 years old!

When the heater you use stops working...that is usually a strong indicator to replace it...

Thanks for info. I have a marineland one now, but when it stops working I will buy a ebo jager heater.

Ebo Jagers are nice but I have heard of the thermostats sticking on several peoples. I prefer the hagen Tronics because it has an auto shut off built in in case anything malfunctions. Titanium heaters are nice too.

i've had one since 2001, an ebo jaeger and its still running fine (accually i have 2)
