how long do i leave in algae sheet???

I just got a yellow tang 2 days ago and he loves to eat his algae sheets! Just wondering how long to leave in the leftovers?

thats what i have been doing, does it hurt the water to leave the soggy sheet in there though? also, is necessary to get out the chunks that have been ripped of and are floating away?

If he doesn't eat it all, then stop feeding so much.

he eats most of it but there is some left where the clip is clipping it. do algae sheets add to phosphates???
