Question is - how long is the whole process?? From the mixing to getting it up to temp??

this may be a dumb question, but what the heck. i live close to the ocean so getting filtered sea water is not a problem for me.
i've been doing this for quite some time now and haven't seen any ill effects from this. what are the benfits of making it your self.

I guess the biggest benefit is convenience. You can mix as much as you want, whenever you want. To me it's the fact that with RO/DI water I am assurred that it is desease free. If you are getting your water anywhere near the coastline I would be very concerned about contaminents.Pollutants, boat discharge, red tide, algaes, medical waste, sewage, should I go on?
