How long do your suction cups last on your powerheads?

My suction cups on my Maxi-Jets are starting to get a little worn. How long do they normally last before needing to be replaced? Is there a good place to order them from? I know we can't post links, but can they be purchased by themselves for a reasonable price?
Is there a better way to mount these things instead of the suction cups? The hangers that come with them do not fit over the top brace of the tank and I have two at the top and two at the bottom.

I replace mine every 6 months or so.

I don't use the suction cups. I hide mine in the LR. The LR supports the powerheads.

If you know where you want them and are happy with the positioning you can crazy glue the suction cups. I have two of mine attached this way,no problem.

My powerheads are being suspended by the power cords now due to the fact that coraline algea and other things now call the suction cups home. I hate removing things from my tank because i can see all the life i am killing when i do it.

Oh Man, thanks, I thought I was crazy--1 of my powerheads has a mind of its own, and I thought it was just me. I have the powersweeps and was never fond of the 2 little suctions cups to begin with. I think I am gonna just get 1 huge suction cup and super glue that to the back of the each of the PH's, that way I can still move them around if I feel the need.
