i bought a medium-small percula clown from a very large tank at my lfs with like 25 clowns in it and was wondering how long it will take it to switch to female beacouse im trying to get a breeding pair? thanks connor
If it's a male it will start turning female in a couple of weeks. Once it starts there is no turning back. Within 6 weeks it will be fully female.
It will vary significantly by species, Maroon will be faster, Percula will be slower.
