How long does it take for ich to spread?

How long does it take for ich to spread?
I have a naso tang he has some tiny spots on his face. I can’t figure out if it’s tiny bubbles or ich. One day he has five spots one day 8 next 3 and so on it’s over a week now he is acting totally normal he is not eating my food yet but he is nibbling a whole day from the live rock. Could the tiny bubbles be ich?

it's possible..if they are pure white then it's pretty likely.. the way a fish feels can often have an effect on it's susceptability to ich.. if it get's stressed it can get it easier. if it's diet is changed it could get it easier.. if the temperature in you tank changes dramatically they could get it.. stress really toys with a fishes health.. my recommendation would be to get some kind of cleaner whether it be a cleaner wrasse or cleaner shrimp.. they can help keep any break out undercontrol. as well as pick fish clean of any other parasites they may have on their bodies.. hope your naso continues to feel better..and good luck
