How long for silicone to cure before leak test?

Just got my sump built. How long do I need to wait before I do a leak test? The silicone is dry, just not sure if it needs to cure for 24 hours before I add water or not? The water I am adding will not go into the tank or anything, just want to test with tap water. Let me know, thanks.

24 hours minimum, don't want to chance ruining a seal over a few hours...

Let it cure for whatever the recommended time is on the packaging. Longer for thicker beads of it. Since it's not going on-line right away, it's not a water contamination issue as much as it is an absorption issue. The caulk may not set properly if it isn't fully cured. Patience........it's your friend.
