How long should I leave my Lights on for my Refug?

I leave mine on 24/7
However, if you have a temp problem you may want them to alternate with you main tanks light.

I think you mean a pH problem, right?

No I meant temperature I live in the desert where outside temperatures can be up to 120 degrees. I also have a 1,000 watts in my main tank so if my 65-watt actinic is running in my refuge it may increase the temp in my tank. I have solved this dilemma for myself but just wanted it to be considered for others.

Reefen, everybodys is plumped to the display. A refuge can also keep PH from fluxuating. Mine being in the basement will also help the temp.

Oh okay, sorry reefen, I thought you were referring to running a reverse cycle on the fuge lights in order to maintain more pH stability because that is what I will be doing with my refugium, however, I do not have such issues as heat up here in the northeast.
