In this situation I think LESS IS MORE when it comes to the things you have in a QT/HT especially a small one. Keep your artificial items to a bare minimum. Everything you put into your tank takes away from your total water volume and water volume is our best friend
I actually disagree here, to an extent. Fish need to feel safe and protected. These are clowns, which require sanctuary. They need safe places to hide. Fake decoration is not gong to displace the water much.

I made sure to get things that were tall and wide but didnt have any depth, that way they could hide behind it but it wouldnt displace a whole lot of water. The only real bulky thing is the little barnacles. They really dont serve a purpose because they are not big enough to provide sanctuary so Im going to take them out. Thanks for all the advice, you guys have been a real help.

well, took it out and the water level didnt change at all. I fogot that its hollow. So I put it back in, cause I like it. I think I did a pretty good job of finding things that provided alot of coverage but didnt displace alot of water
