How long should i run my lights for?

hey guys/gals.

i have a 55 gallon with a jalli PC on top with total of 220 watts.. i recently put them on timers.. just curious how long you guys think i should leave them on for? i run the blues for about a hour before and after the whites come on or off.. for that rise and set feel for the reef in progress.. any ideas would be really helpful.. thanks ahead of time..

8-10 hours, would be my choice, scheduale is fine doing the dawn to dusk routine.

eventually for a reef, you will want 10-12 hours. Like Thomas said, from dawn to dusk is the best time range.
