If you know your tank well and are comfetbale with corals is there a time you should wait before buying new ones. I'm sure people have boght 2 or maybe 3 corals on a treip to lfs. Is therE? <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

it really depends on how long your tank has been established. Each time you introduce a new anything, you are increasing the bioload on your system. I truly feel that after you reach equilibrium between livestock and bioload, eachtime you try to add something new, something else will die. This is just a theory of mine anyway after some tragic stories. If you are just starting out, i would reccommend adding things slowly, until you can truly see the network of life develop in your tank. As your tank, and your knowledge as a hobbiest age, you will understand your tank better, and will be abble to tell if the anchor and frogspawn corals at the lfs will be ok to add. Good luck cause this darn hobby does require a lot of patience!

Biolaod of corals is pretty much non-existent. You can add a whole tank full if you would like as long as they do not sting eachother and you meat their requirments. I would not suggest it due to the fact if there is a problem you can loose alot of money not to mention the fact that you could kill the corals!
I add 1 to 3 at a time and keep an eye on them. If there is a problem, they get pulled quickly and given to someone who can take it.

I've always felt that if your tank is established and has great water conditions adding a few corals or inverts at a time won't affect the chemistry of the tank. Adding fish on the other hand at the same time can be a problem. I think it also depends on the type of corals you get. Whenever I bought corals I bought them in groups of 4-6 and didn't have any problems. Hardy corals in the beginning and delicate corals after 6 months.
