How long will ghost shrimp las in salt water?

you do know that there are both salt & fresh ghost shrimp? Which one do you have. If salt... until they get eaten.
p.s. if you keep feeding him live for very long, it's gonna be a beotch to get him off of it. lions are funny that way.

Freshwater ghost shrimp (in my experience) lasted a full day and then turned pink as they died.

All it takes to keep FW ghost shrimp alive is a bucket of water and a cheap pump/airstone. Like windlasher said, I'd just use the shrimp long enough to wean him to a diet of SW foods; no FW food is a good long term food for lions. If you tell us what species of lion and how big, we can help with weaning ideas.

They are fresh water. I can not get him to eat anything but live food. Where and what kind of shrimp (salt) can I get for him? LFS only has the ghost shrimp.

I sent you a PM on a source, but I would try to get him off live. Let him starve for a few days, then wiggle small shrimp, or strips of large at the top of the tank, when he goes for it, let it drop in front of him. He will take it eventually. Good Luck.
