How long would a baby snowflake eel last in a 55?

Mine finally came out of hiding only to get sucked into my overflow. It was not pretty!

Don't forget to close off the electrical cord slots......after my Eel grew to about a foot.......he went out of the hood via the cord hole.........needless to say.......it's a one way trip!!!!!

As you can see from the earlier posts, be careful with your snowflake. My wife recently found ours on the in our bedroom on the second floor. It had escaped through a small hole on the top of the tank (since corrected) and our coon cat decided it was a new play toy. Cat is fine. Snowflake didn't do so well. Live and learn....

Whats the smallest size snowflake you guys have ever seen? I think it wold be cool to have a tiny baby one...

the smallest i had seen at the LFS was 2"- 3" inches...cute little buggers at that size...
