how loud is a jbj nano?

hey new to the forum and new to saltwater.im thinking about getting a 12g jbj nano tank for my small apartment.the tank will actually be in my bedroom and was wondering how loud is it going to be?thanks for your help..

I don't think a 12 gallon tank should be loud at all...
I have a 34 gallon and the noisiest thing i have is my skimmer...lol
But a 12 gallon shouldn't even use a skimmer so it should be quiet...

my gf says if its at all noisy i have to get rid of it.i hate to buy one and have to get rid of it..

Yup, the skimmer is noisy and sometimes the fans are.... messing with the fan will make them quiet again. When the lights are off the fans are off so at least it's not a night issue.

put it in the living room.. tolerances to noise even very minute noise (~30dB) vary greatly between people. If you're like me, you'll hear a trickle plate or a skimmer or random sloshing of water.
