If it's 48x13x18, it would be a 55 gallon tank. You need more live rocks then what you have. Do you have a protein skimmer??? If not, you better look into getting one. Thinking about purchasing a larger tank down the road? IF not, better not get the tangs. Especially since you already have a yellow tang, they're VERY territorial. You can't have any small fish cause your Humu Humu would have it for dinner.
I have a Humu Humu in one of my tank with a Yellow Tang. I have a Silver Tip Shark in there with them and a large Hermit Crab. The Hermit Crab don't take crap from the Humu Humu, he's bigger then the Humu Humu. The Trigger leaves the crab alone thank goodness. In my other tank I have a Naso Tang, 3 Heniochus Butterfly, 3 Hermit Crabs, and 2 Green Chromis. Surprisingly your Humu Humu hasn't ate the Damsel already, mine would chase small fish around and eat it.
He's like a pirahna. I don't have a puffer, but I think it can defend itself against the Humu Humu if I remember right?
Better do some research!!! Good Luck!
