How many Clowns?

Hey guys, I have a 29 Gallon nano and was wondering if I could have two clowns in it. I really want either a maroon and a True Perc or a B & W false perc and a picasso. I have a Flame and two green Chromis, but I will probably give the chromis to my friend since he is in love with them and I would rather the extra room for thing I like more. Also, do the B & W Falses eventually turn all black or do they always have the orange mouthes? Because I see pics of ones with orange mouths labeled as adults, but then another places shows all blacks with no orange? I am soooo confused!!!!!

If you go with a maroon and a true perc you will end up with a fat maroon - no perc lol
With clowns it's best to keep the same species. You could do a true perc and a picasso tho as I think they are the same species (just different morphs) or a regular maroon and a gold striped maroon. Catch my drift? :)
Also: I've only seen juvi's with the orange mouth - all the adults i've seen are solid blasck but I'll leave that one up to someone who's seen more than me.
I think for that size of tank i'd go with the true percs....maroons can sometimes be jerks.

I dont mean to hijack your thread but how many false pelecura can be put in a 29?

yeah, shes right, only one species, and then only a pair. maroons can get big, so id say go with the percs too.

yeah maroons ar every mean to out sider clowns, and even to each other if just introduced together as they will fight
if you want more then 1 pair i would sujest getting a 150+gallon tank other then that dont try as most ill end up dead
