Probably for that size tank like 5 or 6. There is an easier way than damsels. You can use raw shrimp from the grocery store, this will cycle your tank fine and you don't have to use damsels.

Probably about the same time it would take if you used damsels, maybe not as long. The average cycling time is about 1-2 months.

and you wont have to catch it either.. damsels suck to catch.. fast lil buggers.... nor stress them out during the cycle
