btw when you get a bigger tank. i wouldn't put a trigger in with the lion. i've never had a trigger but alot of people have said that the trigger had killed there lion.

I am really shocked that noone mentioned that the tank prolly didnt cycle properly...The Lion is way to big of a fish for a 46, I would take it back..90% of ppl who say they are going to upgrade never do..

The tank did cycle. He said it was set up for 3 weeks and then he through the lion in. If it wasn't done cycling it certainly is now...

very true...must have missed that in the insane rant...
aboutmine..It is very important to take your time and be patient in this hobby, it is very expensive and time consuming. Make sure you research everythings needs and requirements BEFORE purchase..I added a Humu and a Niger Trigger to one of my tanks first...Really limited my stocking list from the get go..I had a Red Volitan lion in my first SW tank and just added other fish without research and ended up buying really expensive food for the lion..also be carefull working in the tank with a Lion..that sting hurts like hell..
(alot worse to me than a foxface..)

jus a quik question, dont fish only grow according to the amount of room they have, so for example if i get a small niger trigger and put it in a 24gallon tank it will only grow to about 9 or 10 cms max considering if it does get any bigger it will be cramped.

Myth, fish will outgrow a tank.
Where are you at in australia? I've been there twice. Absolutely love the country.
