How many fish did you lose in September?

Unfortunately it seemed there were a lot of fish loses in Sept. from members here. Personally I lost 4 fish. Two due to sickness, one mystery death and one carpet surfer.

I have lost two, both are very small fish. I have a mantis that I can't find, I can hear him but can't find him. I have removed all my rocks ( 100 lbs) twice now looking for it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find it?

It was probally hidden in one of the rocks when you removed them. I'm not sure if it would kill a mantis but you can remove all the rocks and individually place them in a high salinity container to see if he rushes out of the rock trying to find better water conditions.... atleast I've heard of people doing that.

Guess I have been lucky. I didn't lose any. And I even had to move my tanks to a new home. I was really afraid.

I also hear clicking in my tank and have a couple of pep shrimp missing.....
By the way, no fish lost...none purchased either.

i lost my sixline wrasse due to carpet surfing and i had to retur my midas blenny to the lfs due to nipping at my elegance
so i only had one die but 2 are gone

Well I lost one scarlet cleaner the day after I got him...found the other cleaner and a hermit crab munchin on his leftovers. Expensive treat if you ask me.

Yes, that is an expensive treat but not as expensive as the one my serpent star had. He decided to snack on my Rusty angel. I'm not sure if the Rusty was dead or if the star killed it.

i lost 4......very bad month! i have gotten 3 new fish ( pair of perks and a purple fire fish) that have been in the tank for about 10 days now and are doing great

I believe 2 of the sixlines went carpet surfing. I have one and he has been very healthly from the begining. I think over all they are a hearty fish.

lost no fish during September but I didn't buy anymore either.
Waiting for tank to stabalize and SWF.com to get in some more sand sifting crabs before I get some more fish. They must be out of season or something

Lost a Maroon Clown to supposed bacterial/internal problems. Then unexpectedly lost my cool six line right before I went to the UGA game this weekend.

I lost my tiger jawfish...he lept into the overflow, and I didn't notice until it was too late He was a huge, beautiful specimen, too.

I lost a tiger jawfish and a yellow headed jaw fish they both went carpet surfing!!!! I also lost my cleaner shrimp. My wife felt bad and replaced my shrimp and bought me a another jawfish so all isn't so bad now.

I lost three... a chalk basslet and two firefish. I think our green brittle star ate them... although I can't confirm it. Either way, the green monster is coming out ASAP...
