How many fish to add after Damsels

I just got my Damsels out of my tank after cycling. My LFS is telling me to add several fish to keep the cycle up. I was under the impression that I should add 1-2 at a time every 2 weeks or so. Which is correct
I was going with a percula clown and a yellow tang, but they are steering me towards firefish gobies to go with the clown, saying that the tank should run 6 months before adding a yellow tang. Any thoughts on that.

All depends on size of tank and what your future plans are......what type of fish do you want to add in future??

48 gallon. My plan is a clown, dwarf angel, yellow tang, and ....??

I would scrap the yellow, others are fine. Why not add a few fire fish?

Just a sugestion, When adding any fish, leave the lights off when u add them and keep them off as long as possible. This will help with stress and the other fish atacking them.
