bump is a way to put your " thread" at the top of the topic list....
also you TRUELY need to remove that blue regal..your tank is extremely to small for it. also your tank is to small to support a mandrin.
sounds like you have a beer budget and a champain taste :).... you need a larger tank... i had a 55 gallon tank...and wanted the same fish.... i since upgraded to a 125 ...and im about to get my first regal.

Not sure why, but it always annoys me when I see references to the movie Nemo. Perhaps, it’s because uninformed folks walk into their LFS and want to start a tank with all the fish/critters from the movie and then they end up getting a tank that’s way too small to adequately house their new pets, which end up dying days, weeks or months later due to lack of knowledge/proper gear.
Not flame you, but if you can’t spell coral then you probably shouldn’t add it to your tank. The dragonet is bad enough (I can only assume you don’t have a stable pod population for the little guy) and I bet you don’t have the lighting or filtration for an anemone.
I think you need to invest in few books and research the animals before you add them to your tank.

very well said jmick. i dont know how many threads are on this site that refer to nemo and dori. and most of the time people are placing dori in a tank that is considerably smaller than what they need. im glad that the movie is so popular but people need to realize keeping a saltwater tank (esp a reef tank) is hard work and to be successful you really need to be aware of the demands of the hobby.

These folks are right. It is unfortunate but many pet stores shouldn't be allowed to sell living creatures. It is frustrating to get misinformed but please trade those fish in to a GOOD LFS so they will not suffer and you will not deal with the heartache of dead fish. How about a cleaner shrimp as trade for one of them.....they are in the movie as well. I once was told I could put a mandarin in a brand new 29 gallon tank by a somewhat trusted LFS. I was told I would need to add pods for food....luckily I went home and researched this first and was horrified by how many of those beautiful fish parish in people's tanks. Please be more caring toward the animals you keep.

Also, if you end up going with a clown goby I have read they can not thrive due to being kept with other food aggressive fish such as clowns etc......keep an extra eye to ensure the timid little clown goby gets some dinner.
