Hello, I have a tank here that is 5' Long, and is 2' High and Wide. But I am unsure of its size (in gallons) if someone could post here what the rules for figuring out gallons per square foot or inch I would appreciate it.
Thank you
L X W X H (in inches)/231
you have what considered a 150gal standard sized tank (its actually 149.~gal). Of course you know this is measured from the outdside dimensions and therefore your tank actually is smaller, ergo hold less water.
60X24X24=34560/231=149.6gal US
Thank you for your response.
Though I do have a responding question to this size.
Is it possible at all to use this tank for sharks? If so which kind, if not why?
Thanks again in advance
