I think we had a total of 12 kids stop by last night and we bought a ton of candy...towards the end I was giving out huge handfulls of candy and we still have a lot left. Going to urge my wife to bring the extra candy into work so we don't have it sitting around.

Wow - only 5????
We had over 300 kids here.....well, most of them were adults and older teens - don't get me started on that one.
I had 7 pieces of candy left....then my own kids came home - I am now well stocked with about 20 pounds of candy. Should last me the weekend......

Zero kids for me this year. I live on a fairly busy street so I was expecting it to be low. Last year I think we only got 2-3 kids.

LOL about the shipping... I will trade you some frags for your bags of candy
...We dont get to pass out candy because we are not home being we have a 4 yr old and Dont even think about asking the 3 teens to pass it out that is not cool mom is the answer I got last year. I didnt know that was a rule of the cool kids society...Rule 8.. Thou shalt not pass out halloween candy..Now mind you they dont have any problems at all begging the baby for his candy...that must not be a rule

HMMMMM....
so far it's frags or money for my candy...
just so everyone knows and so the bidding is fair: i have reeses peanut butter cups, kitkats, and butterfingers... according to the paper these are worth up to 20 of the "lesser" candies...

Reno, to avoid a bidding war maybe we should do a blind thermos trade. Get a list of names and the I will send a thermos full of candy to the first person on the list, they will empty the thermos, fill it with their left over candy, send it to the 2nd person..... and so on. With the left over goodies you have I want you last on the list so that you send a full thermos to me.

Ms, Have you taken your pilgirmage to the Hershey's plant yet? You think they are good now, try them in the factory store there at the end of the tour.....they are so fresh and OH SO GOOD!

Hershey is a nasty word around my parts now. The town next to our's, Oakdale, CA, is one of the Hershey's plants that shut down and moved to Mexico. About 600 people lost their jobs. We have not bought anything by Hershey since and won't in the future either. As much as we love the kisses and the peanut butter cups I cannot support them any longer. So here's to Dove, Ghiradelli, Nestle, Russell and every other chocolate maker out there located in the USA! Oh, yeah, and we just had a low/average amount of kids last night. Kinda surprised since we live in a very small town but it happens when Halloween's on a Wednesday night. So darn, what to do with all this leftover candy????? lololol...........

We probably had a couple of hundred kids. I almost ran out of candy. My parents came over and passed it out while we took our kid out through the neighborhood. My neighbor always kids me and tells me I'm trick-or-drinking because I carry my plastic cup of beer around. When we went to her house, she drops a bag of candy in my daughters bag and hands me a beer. I love my neighbor.

We got people even when our light was out...
Then my bro gave up his candy, so we turned our light on for 5 min...
I WAS the loc ness monster, then someone said "are you a ghost?"
So, if they think Im a ghost, Im a ghost..
I got maybe 5 pounds... lots of tootsie rolls...
