how many of you had success w/ purple tang nd

I have a yellow, purple and blue hippo tang. All have been fine together. yellow was in first, purple second, and blue hippo third. I have read alot of forums on here about aggressive purples, but mine is fine. The LFS where I bought it had it for a very long time, and it was in with several varieties of tangs. I bought it when they clearanced it. I knew from seeing it frequently that it didn't seem aggressive. I'm sure its different for everyone and as well, the size of your tank may make a big difference as well.

my purple is actually a little less aggressive then my slightly smaller yellow. yellow was added first and then the purple. i bought the purple larger prepared for the agression between the two but it has not been to bad
2 months on and they both hold their own squabbles are rare and last a sec or two.

i have a purple with a clown tang and a blonde nazo tang a 210. the purple is the smallest and i have never had any major problems with them. the purple was added about 3 months ago and was the last to go in. the first week or so he was going after my naso and one day just stopped.
after that i never had any problems with them.

I have kept all three together for years.....The Kole I lost to a hurrican but still have the Purple, Hippo and other tangs together still. Purples will mainly show aggression to other Zebrasomas such as Yellow tangs. But nomally OK in a large enough, properly set up system....
