How many power heads do i need?

I have a 54 gallon corner tank with one max jet 900 in it plus my fluval filter providing mvmt. is that enough? Were is best to place power heads?

is the maxi jet modded or just standard? this will make a big difference in performance

I have a 36g corner and a fluval 404 ,1-1200 maxi,and a 900 maxi and still have flow problems .I keep lps, sps ,clam and 2 bta. Corners are hard to keep good flow

I have a MP40 in my 54g and it seems to do good. There are a couple dead spots in back behind the rock but im very happy.

idk why people say vortech. even tho they are amazing pumps, they are darn too expensive.
Best wave pump you can get now are the koralias. simple and very great for the price. now if you want big pumps cause you have the $$ then the vortech is the best

I keep hearing about some big tahdoo over the new Koralias. Some big upgrade, I hope its a real upgrade and not just a price upgrade

I have the Koralias and I really like them so far. So for the price I say Koralias and you may even get some more bang for your buck if you wait till Feb I think when they plan the release?

I had two maxijets 1200, one on either side. I dont believe the both of them did as well as the vortech. His name has dr in front doesnt it.
