How many protein skimmers?

I have a 75 gal reef tank been running for 2 years. Yesterday I combined it with a couple more fish and some more rock from my other tank. The reef tank has the smaller Sea Clone skimmer already hooked up, but now I have an extra no name skimmer. Should I use that one to and have two skimmers running? Also now I have a uv sterilizer. Should I run that in the reef tank or will that kill too much good stuff the corals need? Thanks

Why not run the extra protein skimmer on a QT tank. I wish I had an extra one. And as far as UV, I personally wouldn't run one on a reef tank. I don't see the advantages.

I don't have any other tanks now, if one is enough maybe I will just hold onto the other one.
