Depends on what kind of nice corals, more light, more heat, more issues, never easy in this hobby:confused: I have 72 watts PC on my 7 and it cranks:)

Is that why your tank looks like it could be on the cover of some really great aquarium book? I LOVE YOUR TANK. =)

I have 3X32 on my 10 gal & it does great with softies & some LPS. Light's only one problem in a nano, water quality has been more of an issue in my experience.

I'm gonna go with Marvida on this. I'd go with 3x32's of PC. That would let you keep LPS like hammer and stuff along with the usual corals (shrooms, Green Star Polyps, Zoo's). It'd be a nice setup. I'd go with 3 50/50 or 2 10K's and 1 Actinic (personally I like my tank a little bluer).
Good luck

If I went with the 2x32 or 3x32 PC would heat be a problem. I would do this on an eclipse 12. Im probably not going to do it right away just because I wont really need the light during the cycle.

He said that he has one over his 10. I forget what the dimensions on a 12 gallon but they are probably similar to a ten.

I built the hood for the ten gallon so it was easy to fit 3. With an existing set up you might run into space issues.

3- 32w PC most likely will not fit a 12g eclipse hood. IMO, 2- 32w PC in a 12g tank would be fine for whatever you plan to keep. No SPS or Clams of course but most anything else should be fine.

BTW, the dimensions on a 12g Eclipse is 20" L x 11-1/2" W x 17-1/2" H. But the spaced allowed for lighting is about half the width.
