I played golf again today. I played 18 holes. Back and front 9. I shot a 93 not too bad but all my balls where going strait but my putting was not very good. I 3 putted about 5 holes so that was not bery good.

I am looking for a Taylor Made Driver or a Taylor Made 3 wood 200 series. Just wondering if anyone has one.

MP 14's are outstanding clubs. I play forged Mizuno T-Zoids. A "little" more forgiving than the MP 14's.
I've mentioned the driver, and I use a Callaway 2-wood. I hit the ball rather high, so I use it as my 3-wood. My driver is a 7.5 loft, and on a good day I can carry the ball 265-270yds. But I still hit it well over the tree tops, so the wind, hurts me a lot. My kingdom to be able to hit the ball low.
I use 3-PW in the Mizuno's, a 53 degree Cleveland PW, and a 56 degree Titleist Sw, with 3 degree bounce, so that I can open it up to at least 60 degrees, for flop shots.
Of course, I've had a ton of putters, but my favorite is the Ping Anser 3.
My kingdom for a 3-putt free round of Golf.
My best round, I shot a 67 on a 7,100 yard course, and 3 putted the last hole. But, to give myself a little credit, the first putt was a downhiller from about 50 feet.
To give myself even more credit, before I hit my approach shot from 165 yards, my playing partner says, "hey, if you birdie this hole, you shoot a 65".
He was supposed to be my friend..... ..................:D

The Titleist 983K is a pretty sweet driver, also the Cleveland launcher 460. I'm looking at the Taylor Made R7........

I got hooked on golf ever since my father taught me how to play when I was in high school. Loved it ever since. I play in a league on tuesdays and try to play 18 on sundays. Ill shoot anywhere from the low 80's to mid 90's. By the end of last year, I was sooooo close to breaking 80. Kept shooting 81, 82, etc. Really annoyed me after thinking back of some shots that I lost.
I play with the old taylor made oversize irons with the bubble shaft. I hate regripping those things. The driver is a taylor made titanium but I reshafted that one. I just switched putters this year. I am now using the titleist futura chest putter. Actually I really like those long putters.
Being up north, it sucks in winter because you cant play so I took up bowling during the winters. :D

I love to play, not that good though. Belothsurf, have you played any courses in Tuscaloosa?

No, I haven't made it to any T-Town courses. Tannehill is the closest I've played to T-Town.
Tannehill is a fun course to play, if you ever get the chance.

thoes t zoids are excelent clubs.. i personally have never played with anything but a blade.... everything is too big lookin, also the 2 wood is the origional s2h2 "duece and the bobby jones 4 wood... my bigest club length wise is my putter... and from a visual standpoint i hate it.... btw i shot a 68 yesterday.... 32/34... with a double....

Ouch!!.....Spas....you are making me want to go out and practice a little....:D 68,....nice.
I forgot about the s2h2's and the Bobby Jones series. That is Original Callaway. I played s2h2 irons for a while, then I switched to Ben Hogan for a few years.
I agree with you on the everything too big look, especially drivers. Too much room for error also, without the "dead" feeling of a bad swing. You can miss the sweet spot by a mile, and never even know it.

I've always like the serene pace and setting of a decent golf course. Even here in New Mexico the local muny is probably the nicest piece of property around...makes for a nice way to shut down the world...go at a slower pace...and enjoy mother nature for a few hours.

been playing for 4 yrs now totally addicted.messed up my hand 3mos ago havnt been able to play since.nothing better than playin 16 17 18 at the end of the day when the sun strts to go down. the peace fulness
