What size tank do you have, and how much money do you think you have invested in it? Pics would be great too.... I am new to the hobby, and ready to start a nice reef tank... Need some ideas on how painful this hobby can be... hehe
Thanks!

its the lighting that cost a pretty penny. not sure what you have now but you will always want something bigger and then want to upgrade that and so on and so on. What do you have now for you set up?

Hmmm... With a 60g, 46, and a 10g, I'd say that I have between 5 and 10 grand wrapped up in them. BEWARE!! This hobby is very addicting, and expensive!!!!

It's just expensive... no way around it...
If you are a DIYer you can save some bucks.. I'm a pretty big clutz but I made my own 20 gallon refugium for like $100.
You can get a pretty good picture of what the tank is going to cost you before you buy it... pick out the lights, skimmer, pumps, etc.
Livestock is the cheap part of the hobby, lol.
