right now i have 35X
but i don't think 100x will be better like some SPS reefer claims. To me as long a there is water flow throughout the tank it does not matter if you only have 20X or 60 X the flow and as long as no direct flow to the corals

Well I have my overflow cranked down to about 850gph or so....my return pump and durso can handle up to 1000, but every time I open it all the way it gets that toilet flushing sound. I also have 2 Koralia-3's that move 850GPH each, so my total flow is 2550 gph i a 4-foot 110 gallon tank.....puts me at 23x turnover rate. I'd consider more, but it already keeps the water moving at a pretty good clip in there....probably b/c even though it's 110 gallons, it's still just 4 feet long.

i use to have a cubeish tank 225g that is 4 feet long . it does not need more than 30X because of the size.to me it depends of the tank i only have 3- 4 sureflow mod kit on my 225 sps prodominant tank.it it was great
