How much food?

How much food should I be feeding Two percula clowns? I think I might be overfeeding I'm not sure? It seems I have to clean tank often. Can anyone help? I usually feed twice a day. A pinch of flake in the morning and plankton or shrimp in the evening and than I reverse it. I have a 12 gallon Eclipse.
Any suggestions, I also have a turbo snail, a brownish starfish, a brittle star and about 5 sand snails. Thanks for any answers

Well I have two Percs in a 30 gallon tank - that I feed once every other day.
A small pinch of flake one day, then two or three days later a small pinch of thawed out frozen meaty food, mysis shimp or other treat.
When I say small - I mean smaller that a pencil eraser.
