How much $ for a new 90 gallon tank?

Where in NY are you? I discovered 1000 Island aquarium here in Bklyn and I ordered a 90G reef-ready tank for 625 bucks with canopy and stand. You can choose where you want to have the overflow placed (I chose the left corner, so I will have more room in the middle of the tank). This does not include the sump--I am going to build my own. I am sure you can get this set-up for less but I like brand new because I like the lifetime warranty they have on their aquarium. I think you can also design your tank and have them construct it for you.

Depends on what you are looking for. Glass or acrylic? Do you want built in overflows? What color of trim? Will you need a stand and canopy with your tank? If so, what type are you interested in? I have a 90 glass with oak trim and no overflows (sure wish I had gotten the one with the overflows) with a solid oak stand and canopy. I bought it a while ago at the LFS and don't recall exactly how much it was, but seems as if the whole thing (tank, stand, canopy) was roughly $750.00. If I recall...the lights cost more than the tank/stand/canopy did.

I just bought an acrylic Nova 90 Gal used with the stand, built in overflow, Oceanic wet/dry and skimmer, main circulating pump, VHO lights and ballasts, all for $700. I have seen a number of similar set-ups in this same price range over the past few months.
