I've spent probably somewhere between 1500-2000 and thats on a 20gal. This is one of those hobbies that the more expensive things are usually better...unless you make it yourself
which I have slowly progressed into. Its tough making a SPS tank without spending a lot. Thats why I chose to stick with my 20 instead of upgrading...the cost to get a 75 where I want it would cost me another $5000, which I don't have.

Just put a deposit of $3000 today for 110g
Supposed to get customized tank with stand and cabinets
bulk of money going to top line lighting and filtration system
Decided to use professional to do my first salt water system
then hope to learn from there
total cost $5k
Hope its worths it
small change compared to what ive spent on golf over the yrs
