How much live rock can I fit?

I have a 55 gallon and I wanna add more live rock. I plan on doing an online order and I'm wondering how much live rock can I fit in my tank with a 5-6" DSB. Do you think I would be able to fit 100 lbs or so?

You want about 1 1/2lbs-2lbs per gallon, so 100lbs should be fine.

you can actually fit more than that in a 55, i had somewhere around 150 to 170 and it all fit. what said said above is the rule 1 to 1.5 lbs per gallon.

I knew that was the rule I just wasn't sure if it would be possible or if it would crowd my tank to much. Thanks guys.

100 lbs. in a 55 is about all you want. Any more is really cramped(and unnecessary).

My 2 cents.
It depends on the density of the rock. I don’t know which rock is denser than an other, but I know you could get one that is the size of a softball and it weigh 5 pounds, and get a rock of a different variety of the same size and it only weigh a pound. And it all depends on how you want to pack it into your tank. I have 45-50 pounds or LR from SWF (Fuji) and it is stacked on a few pieces of lace rock. I have it stacked half way up the tank, and it is not touching and of my glass.
