How much LR can you add at 1 time?

Do method A. Only do method B. If there is something on the rock that you want to save.

It all depends on where you get it from. Mine mostly had corraline algae, but I got some nice sized pieces for a very low price.

It really dose depend on who you get it from. If you get some good live rock it will have all kinds of extra goodies on it.
