how much salt?

Thanks, all! I did the 1/2 cup per g. Afterwards, I checked and the hydrometer (I know, they're junk - I just proved it!) kept saying it was way too salty. Finally I took a sample to the LFS for them to test. Anyway, I think I'm back on track now.
I did go ahead and add my rock (live and base) and sand (live and aragonite). I'm not sure if I should have let the water age more first, but I guess I just couldn't wait. Hope it'll be okay! The little blue-legged hermit who hitchhiked in has been gathering shells and is sitting in the middle of them.:)
mbrands: I'm in Jeffersonville. Not too far!
