Well that kinda depends on how deep a sand bed you wnat. On the right of the screen, click on the live rock live sand link....there is a calculator there....you enter some info, and it gives you the answer

i had another question does to much sand cause bristle worm to reproduce faster or cause me to have more bristle worms in the tank?

Bristle worms eat detrius and excess nutrients.....not sand. They will grow and multiply based on your excess of those....
