How much tax credit is Obama going to give me on my "green" vehicle?

Just kidding, but it is green. I finished my going into winter detail on my old 73 Ford and wanted to show it off a little while it is clean and shiny and yes except for a small spot on the back of the truck by some miracle that is the paint job it came with. Mechanically, the motor is a bored and blueprinted 390 that has been bored out and everything else mechanical has either been replaced, rebuilt or serviced over the last couple years as money has allowed.

You gotta nix the camper shell. I had a high school buddy that had that exact truck (different color). I can recall many a trip to New Orleans in that puppy. Just can't recall what happened after I got there.

Yeah, the shell is pretty basic but we use the truck for camping, dog hauler, grocery hauler etc so I need something. I would like to replace it with a period correct one or a fiberglass one. Just got done going through the whole brake system and it turned out costing a lot more for parts than I thought it would be so it will be a few months before the budget allows for me to look at a new canopy,

It would look real sweet with one of those matching colored fiberglass tonneau covers. Not sure how that would work hauling the puppies.

My uncle had one of those aluminum ones with the aerodynamic bump up. Be way cool to find one of those old guys. One of the slide in campers without the cabover would look period on that.

That sounds like what I am looking for. I would like to put the stock wheels and hubcaps back on it, but they are 15 1/2 inch wheels which is a funky tire size and they don't make any modern tires that size.
