Hello,
My 55g tank has cycled. I added our first three fish this weekend. A clown fish, one blue damsel, and one yellow-tail damsel. I bought some frozen shimp brine as food. The guy at the LFS said I should feed two times a day.....Would once a day surfice?
Thanks.

Brine shrimp is a treat, not meant to be a food meal. It would be like feeding french fries, not nutritious, but will pack on the pounds. Brine shrimp is a good food to get fussy eaters to eat, but you want to wean them off of brine and go for the mysis shrimp. It is a larger shrimp, and has a lot more nutrients.
As far as how often to feed, I say once a day is sufficient, but with a quality food. And never enough to last more than a few minutes
. The fish you have are carnivores, but adding a vegie diet in there would not hurt. Try frozen mega algae, or mega marine for a diverse diet. I never feed my fish the same food twice in one week. Get a varied diet......lots of frozen food to try.
My freezer has a shelf devoted to the tank.
But I have a variety of fish, from tangs to gobies.
