how often water changes??

i was wondering how often because ive been hearing all different answers..

optimal is 10-15% once a week it replenishes trace elements at a much better rate and i am thinking your nitrate and phosphates are high this keeps them in check much better...tobin

most people have their own routines, but generally its about 20% or so twice a month. some people do weekly, some people do monthly.

Most people do water changes every two weeks I do my water changes every month it all depends the bio load of your tank.

if you are getting any bad test results the more often the better...tobin
