Do you need to replace Power Compact Bulbs?

I've heard you should replace them about every 6-8 months. Don't wait until they burn out.

I wouldn't go more than 9 months without changing PC bulbs.

I use 6 months as the rule. Less for lower quality bulbs (like JEBO) or with hoods that allow the bulbs to get really hot due to poor ventilation.
