Kris... I don't know what your talking about when you say a teen can't make enough money to support this hobby.
I work at Publix.. and during the summer, I'm sacrificing my social life... lots of extra hours. I'm 14.. not a glamorous job, bagging groceries, pushing carts around, stocking, ect ect.. not fun, but I make enough to support my hobby. I pay for just about everything.. lighting, livestock, equipment. My parents help out once in a while.. (not often), but most of my reef stuff has been bought my me. 5.75 an hour.

I work at a gym at get 6.50 an hour. Good pay for a 13 year old. Anyway I get money for my birthday ($1,000) and my Bar Mitzah ($5,000)!!!

Man! Zack you got it easy, you get freakin $1000.00 for your b-day? Reanember i'm 12 now, I get maybe $150 from my mom for my birthday, and sometimes if theres any yardwork i'll make $15 mowin a lawn, and then i just made $75 taring out sod in the front lawn, and belive me, it was a huge lot of sod! I'm not jewish, so I dont get a dang barmitzva (I cant spell it). Come Christmas time, maybe $300-350....+ relitives on either occasion....other then that I am left $$-less for the rest of the year, I asked for $20.00 a week for lunch money I get that and save $10.00 for my aquarium....buys me RO for a couple weeks. MAN $1000!!?!?!?!? I would be awd with that much, us youngsters aren't spoiled (atleast not me <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> ) anywho....

What can I say got a lot of reltives who tried one year to get me a gift that was not money but failed at it. So now $100 here $50 there and my uncle who owns a insurnce company $500. Living the life!!!!!! Bar mitzah is May 18,2002 Can't wait!!!!!
